As a prominent figure in the San Francisco Bay Area commercial construction industry for more than 25 years, Dave has an extensive expertise on capital projects and corporate interior renovations. His knowledge spans the construction process from preconstruction and lease assistance to planning, budgeting, assembling a team and overseeing the construction process through closeout. Dave’s effectiveness is based on his ability to introduce a client’s vision for design, budget and timeline into the construction process and successfully manage the outcome.
Prior to co-founding Omega, Dave worked with Skyline Construction as a Senior Project Manager where he was responsible for the cost management, bids, analysis, estimating, budgeting, value engineering and scheduling on multiple projects simultaneously.
Dave’s breadth of industry expertise is supported through 19 years with Shorenstein Realty Services where he held progressively responsible positions, advancing from Estimator to Project Manager to Senior Construction Manager. While at Shorenstein, Dave was responsible for the bidding and hiring of On-Call Architects, General Contractors and MEP Engineering firms for multiple properties. He has coordinated and overseen small to multi-million dollar tenant improvement projects and capital projects that range from demo/abatement of multiple floors to cooling towers.
With years of construction experience, Ed specializes on delivering unique and complex projects. He has managed projects ranging from high rise office buildings, hotels, residential developments, and shopping centers. Skilled in the details of all trades, Ed prides himself on delivering projects on time, and on budget.
Throughout his career, Ed has held many executive leadership roles while working for top companies. Some of his career highlights include:
President of Commercial Interior Contractors and Vice President William Wilson and Assc., CEO of Venture Builders, Vice president of Construction Equity Office, Director of Construction Shorenstein Company and Principle of Donnelly Kerley Construction.
While with William Wilson Assc. He was involved with taking the construction division through two mergers one with Cornerstone Properties and the second with Equity Office.
